The Pavilion: Your starting point in the Waterloopbos.

July 2024 // The new ProefLab Waterloopbos has opened! // Deputy Sjaak Simonse of the Province of Flevoland, together with Pim van der Feltz, CEO of Natuurmonumenten, and Niels van As, co-owner of Het ProefLab, unveiled the name: ProefLab Waterloopbos. With the new building, Waterloopbos now has the entrance building it deserves. Complete with a restaurant, spacious terrace, meeting room, kiosk, and an information point by Natuurmonumenten, including an exhibition.

Why was a new building constructed? The current building was set up 4.5 years ago as a temporary hospitality location. With plans for new construction already in sight from the beginning, the current building served as a temporary solution that many of you embraced. The new building is a place where we can further expand our vision and where Natuurmonumenten has more space to exhibit the history of Waterloopbos.
